Tues Finals and Wed Preview - 5/4

Not much action in the area last night thanks to mother nature but the non-section game between Upper St. Clair and Fox Chapel played on as scheduled. The Panthers handled the Foxes in the rain, 11-2, for its third consecutive win. Defensively, USC has surrendered only four goals during said stretch and are 7-0 when it holds the opposition to six goals or less. The Panthers can clinch a playoff spot tonight with a win at home over section rivals Peters Township. Other teams that can guarantee a postseason birth with a win tonight are Quaker Valley, Chartiers Valley and Erie-McDowell. The winner of the Cathedral Prep at Hampton match-up will also solidify a playoff bid. But the two match-ups everyone has their eyes on tonight should be nothing short of a slug-fest when North Allegheny heads north up 19 to Seneca Valley and the game all of Pittsburgh has been waiting for, Mt. Lebanon's trip to Sewickley Academy with D-I supremacy on the line.
